Growing up the son of a Commercial Art professor has always been a little tough. Especially one as bad-ass as my father. As a little munchkin, when I'd draw a cute little horsey, I could show it to my dad and he'd say, "That's really good, but what if you tried this, or this, or this or this?" and he'd totally kick my drawing's ass. Now, some children would throw their tablet down and decide they hate art, but for some crazy reason it instilled into me a perfectionistic quality that I'm very grateful for.

After high school I chose to follow in the footsteps of my father and head to CMSU, now known as the University of Central Missouri. I majored in Commercial Art with an emphasis in Graphic Design, and graduated with honors. Since then I've settled in Independence, Missouri, and have been making a name for myself in UCM's Office of University Relations.

As for the name of this site, some of my childhood friends would call me lynchbox in an effort to be funny. I always thought it was stupid, and didn't make sense. I never brought a lunchbox to school. I loved my chicken fried steak. But, when the time came to come up with a catchy URL for my site, I figured I'd take something that drove me nuts as a kid and celebrate it. It's not as cool of a nickname as "T-Bone" but I'll deal. This site was launched in May of 2004, and will hopefully be around a long, long, long, long long, long time.

Take some time, look around. I hope you like the site.

P.S. Thanks Pops.
